Keywords are the words or phrases that we type into the search engines looking for a specific product, information or service.  So, when I say keywords, I could be referring to a search term like “Cellular Phone” or “Cheap cellular phone service”.  Now that we know what I am referring to, let’s get down to business!

Information is one of the biggest sellers online.  Everyone is looking for information on something.  Whether it is a recipe, how to get ketchup out of a white shirt or information on a product or service, there is always someone to give the info!  So, if it is just information that they are providing, how do they make money?  That is the question that has been asked for a long time, and I am now going to break it down for you.

There are more and more Directories and Review Sites showing up online.  I am not sure if you have noticed, search terms are starting to show more and more directories and review sites in their results.  The theory is that a review or directory site can have 100’s or 1000’s of pages on one industry and are beating a lot of your product based sites in size.

A majority of the individuals that I have worked with didn’t really have a product of their own or ideas on how to generate an online business.  SO… They usually wander the internet looking for that “Right” Opportunity for them.  What they don’t realize is that in a lot of circumstances your passion or your hobbies are the first place you should be looking.
