There are more and more Directories and Review Sites showing up online.  I am not sure if you have noticed, search terms are starting to show more and more directories and review sites in their results.  The theory is that a review or directory site can have 100’s or 1000’s of pages on one industry and are beating a lot of your product based sites in size.  

These product based sites are having a hard time competing with these HUGE Directories or review sites.  Think of it this way… A product based site might have 10 product pages and 20 supporting pages like “Contact Us”, etc.  So, they have a total of 30 pages on their site.  Now think about a directory… The directory might list products from over a 100 companies and may average 20 pages per company.  This would create a total number of 2000 pages.  If you were Google, who would you list?  A company that has 30 pages or a company that has over 2000?  Yep, easy choice.

So, there are a lot of ways to make money online by creating a directory or a review site, but if you have a product, then it might be a good idea to get your product listed in these directories and review sites to increase your popularity and name recognition.  Look for these online, they are now EVERYWHERE!
